A Massachusetts-based logistics firm has opened a large fulfillment center in northwest Dallas.
Quiet 3PF is operating the more than half-million-square-foot e-commerce distribution center at 10750 Denton Drive, north of Love Field and east of Stemmons Freeway. It’s the company’s first location in Texas.
“Our urban infill real estate strategy enables Quiet to meet consumers where they are,” Gene Gorab, the company’s executive chairman, said in a statement. “By positioning our fulfillment centers near and in high-density population centers, we offer our brand partners all of the benefits of storefront fulfillment without the associated rent, labor and other fixed costs.”
The fulfillment center will employ more than 400 workers who will process over 22 million orders a year from the Dallas operation.
The distribution hub is the first facility developed since Quiet 3PF was acquired by Greenfield Partners LLC and Related Fund Management in 2018. Quiet 3PF has multiple fulfillment locations in markets including Boston, St Louis, Chicago and Los Angeles.
“With the addition of the Dallas facility to our nationwide network, we are able to cost-effectively access an even larger percentage of urban consumers, bringing us that much closer to our goal of reaching 99% of our brands’ customers with two-day ground shipping and over 70% with next-day ground,” Brian Lemerise, president and chief operating officer, said in a statement.
The company’s website lists Boll & Branch, Mack Weldon,Tuft & Needle and Summersalt as some of its clients.
